Dr. Joyce Liporace is one of the country’s leading neurologists specializing in concerns for women with epilepsy. She attended Clark University for undergraduate school and went on to receive her medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She completed a Neurology residency and Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Liporace is actively involved in local, regional and national societies including the American Academy of Neurology, the American Epilepsy Society, and the Epilepsy Foundation of America. She has also chaired the Task Force for Women’s issues in Epilepsy for the AES. Over the last decade, Philadelphia Magazine has consistently named her one of the top doctors for Neurology.
Dr. Liporace is currently in private practice at Great Valley Neurological Associates at Paoli Hospital in Paoli, PA. She has been widely published including in the New England Journal of Medicine.
